At PerForm Packaging Solutions we offer customised, fully integrated packaging machinery solutions to our customers in food and beverage markets in Australia and New Zealand. From single part equipment to turnkey installations. We represent some of Europe’s leading packaging machinery manufacturers, providing our customers with the latest, innovative technologies while also offering Australian-based service support and after sales.

In this role, you will be exposed to various aspects of the business while supporting the sales, service, and after-sales teams in their day-to-day operations. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys both problem-solving and working closely with customers and suppliers.

Key responsibilities:

• Prepare and develop CAD layouts to support design and project requirements
• Assist with sales design concepts, helping create solutions tailored to customer needs
• Generate and maintain spare part requests
• Support troubleshooting customer’s issues and give technical advice
• Attend project related meetings
• Assist in machine Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) at our suppliers
• Help with the installation and commissioning at customer’s sites
• You can grow into the role of a sales engineer or project/sales manager.

We’re based in Derrimut Melbourne and are seeking someone who can be regularly present in the office.

The ideal candidate will have:

• full eligibility to live and work in Australia
• a valid driver’s licence and the ability to travel interstate for service support and occasionally internationally for attending machine FAT at our suppliers
• a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, packaging engineering, or related field
• proficient with CAD software is essential
• can work in cross-functional teams with our suppliers and clients
• has excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills
• is willing to learn, improve and is committed to projects and tasks

• A permanent full-time role with a competitive base salary ($75k- 85k)
